The Community’s Take

Oud Wood opens with a refined, slightly spicy woodiness of rosewood, cardamom and pepper. It warms into smooth oud and sandalwood, with a soft amber-vanilla glow that keeps it from turning sharp.

Some find it quieter than they hoped and wish it had more presence, and a few say it gives them a headache.

Admirers call it polished, sophisticated and quietly luxurious, a woody scent that smells refined rather than loud.
