Oud Minérale is Tom Ford’s coastal reinterpretation of rich oud wood. It opens with a crystalline wash of sea salt and aquatic notes, evoking windswept coastlines, before the smoky, resinous nuance of oud emerges with quiet intensity. Cypress and a subtle rum facet add green depth and smooth warmth, while amber in the base rounds out the composition with softly glowing resinous richness. Rather than the dense, desert-like oud typical of niche perfumery, Oud Minérale feels luminous and windswept — a balanced fusion of maritime freshness and woody sensuality that’s both unexpected and memorably elegant.
