Reintroduced in 2024, Vanille Fatale returns as part of Tom Ford’s Signature line, maintaining its identity as a dark, structured interpretation of vanilla. The composition continues to emphasise contrast, where rich Madagascar vanilla is framed by dry, toasted and resinous elements rather than overt sweetness. Saffron and incense provide an immediate warmth, while roasted barley and coffee introduce a subtle bitterness that shapes the fragrance’s distinctive character.

Floral nuances of narcissus and frangipani lend a controlled softness through the heart, before settling into a base of suede, mahogany wood, and resins. The vanilla remains present throughout, but is consistently tempered by smoky, spicy, and woody accords.
