Description:
Shalimar L’Essence was created to mark the 100th anniversary of Shalimar, first composed in 1925, and is presented by Guerlain as an intense variation that concentrates the house’s signature amber-vanilla identity. Official brand material places vanilla at the centre of the composition, pairing bergamot with a floral heart of rose and iris before the amber accord unfolds into a richer base with smooth woody and leathery facets. The result is a more focused and polished expression of Shalimar, where powdery florals and luminous citrus give way to a dense, velvety vanilla-amber drydown with soft resinous depth.
