Description:
Shalimar Eau de Parfum is one of perfumery's most iconic creations and is widely recognised as the first amber fragrance in history. Created by Jacques Guerlain and inspired by the legendary love story between Emperor Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal, the fragrance takes its name from the Shalimar Gardens, meaning "temple of love" in Sanskrit. It opens with a radiant burst of bergamot before unfolding into a refined heart of iris, jasmine, and rose. The signature Guerlinade accord emerges through an opulent base of vanilla, balsam notes, and tonka bean, creating the fragrance's unmistakable warmth and sensuality. Presented in its celebrated fan-shaped bottle, originally designed by Raymond Guerlain, Shalimar remains a timeless expression of elegance and one of the House's most enduring masterpieces.
Please note, when ordering a decant size, you will receive the original fragrance in a glass vial atomizer, not the bottle pictured above.
