Santal Pao Rosa, Guerlain, Eau de Parfum
A powerful, floral interpretation of sandalwood
Nature becomes art as the strength of sandalwood is enveloped in tender rose petals. Between bark and blossom lies a refreshing, spicy undertone infused with cardamon and deeper notes of agarwood and myrrh.
Santal Pao Rosa is a name buried deep in Guerlain’s heritage, with Pao Rosa being the name given to a fragrance by Aimé Guerlain, created in 1877, and evoking the unique encounter between wood and rose.
Sandalwood
Harvested mainly in Australia and distilled on site, sandalwood is distinguished by its woody, creamy note. The tree takes fifteen years to reach the required maturity to yield its essence.
In Santal Pao Rosa, the woody note of sandalwood is underpinned by fig and hazelnut tones.
A beloved ingredient among Guerlain Perfumers, sandalwood lights up numerous House masterpieces with its woody-milky note.
Please note, when ordering a decant size, you will receive the original fragrance in a glass vial atomizer, not the bottle pictured above.
