Description:
Purpose 50 is Quentin Bisch’s intensified reinterpretation of the original Purpose, created under the creative direction of Renaud Salmon as part of Amouage’s Exceptional Extraits. Frankincense remains central, but the composition is reworked with a deeper connection to woods, earth and spice. Bergamot, pink pepper, frankincense and pimento berry establish a bright yet pungently aromatic opening. Rose, sand vetiver, sandalwood and papyrus then introduce contrasting floral, earthy, creamy and dry woody facets. The base combines saffron and suede with Akigalawood, Mystikal and vanilla, giving the fragrance a warmer and more grounded character. Purpose 50 retains the distinctive incense-led identity of Purpose while presenting it through a denser, woodier and more textural structure, with sandalwood and vanilla softening its dry, spicy and resinous elements.
