Description:
N°5 L’eau was created by Chanel In-House Perfumer Creator Olivier Polge as a contemporary interpretation of the house’s iconic N°5 composition. Introduced in 2016, it retains the recognizable floral-aldehydic architecture while emphasizing freshness, clarity and citrus brightness. Aldehydes meet lemon, mandarin, orange, neroli and other citrus facets in the opening before revealing a floral heart of rose, jasmine and ylang-ylang. Cedar and soft white musk form the streamlined woody-musky foundation, with orris and vanilla adding subtle softness. Rather than reproducing the richer character of the original N°5, L’EAU presents its familiar floral structure through a lighter, more transparent lens, moving from crisp citrus and aldehydes into an airy floral heart and clean, softly woody finish
