Yves Saint Laurent Libre Santal Couture Eau de Parfum is a limited-edition 2026 interpretation of Libre and the collection's first floral woody expression. Created by Anne Flipo, it retains the defining contrast between aromatic French lavender and Moroccan orange blossom while placing sandalwood at the centre of the composition. New Caledonian sandalwood introduces a warm, textured woody character that reshapes the familiar Libre floral structure without removing its recognisable aromatic identity. Lavender provides a clean, aromatic opening, while orange blossom adds luminous white-floral warmth. The sandalwood becomes increasingly prominent as the fragrance develops, creating a smoother and more enveloping woody foundation. The result is a more wood-focused Libre, balancing its established lavender and orange blossom signature with the creamy warmth and texture of sandalwood.
