Description:
Ghibli takes its name from the hot desert wind of North Africa and reflects Ella K founder Sonia Constant’s travel-inspired approach to fragrance. The composition contrasts the floral brightness of jasmine with the gourmand sweetness of nougat and the warmth of cinnamon. Tobacco and leather introduce darker, drier facets, giving structure to the sweeter elements and creating a more textured oriental character. Tonka bean and vanilla form a smooth base, reinforcing the fragrance’s warm and gently gourmand profile. Rather than functioning as a conventional sweet composition, Ghibli balances confectionery nuances against tobacco, leather and spice. It develops from a floral and warmly spiced opening into a richer combination of sweet, smoky and leathery tones, before settling into a softer base shaped by tonka bean and vanilla.
